The Parish Office will be closed starting at 3:30pm on Tuesday, December 23rd, and will reopen at 8:30am on Friday, January 2nd. We wish you a very Merry Christmas,

We will be including poinsettias in our parish hall and chapel decorations for Christmas. These poinsettias can be dedicated in honor of or in memory of, a family or individual at a donation amount of $20 per plant. A printable order form can be found below or in the Parish Hall. All proceeds from the poinsettia donations will go to the Art & Environment Fund. This fund directly supports the preparation of the parish hall and chapel for each liturgical season. This includes but is not limited to flowers, candles and other decor.

• How to Bless your Advent Wreath
• Do the Advent wreath with your family or friends. If you don’t have one, you will need the following: a wreath, a round candle holder that holds four candles, and four candles (three violet candles and one pink). Put it all together and each week light a candle. You can find prayers and reflections for each week by clicking HERE.
• Make time for quiet. Advent can become a hectic time with Christmas shopping and gatherings. Because Advent is a time of waiting and preparing, make sure to make time for quiet periods to refocus yourself on spiritual preparation and anticipation of the celebration of Jesus’ birth.
• Go to Confession. To truly allow Jesus to into your heart this Christmas, you’ve got to make room. In the sacrament of Confession, we are given an opportunity to do just that. If you haven’t been to Confession in a while, make the time to go. Click HERE to see our Confession times. 
• Resolve to give something up. Typically, we give up something for Lent, but consider doing it for Advent. Making an Advent resolution to give up something can allow us to grow in our relationship with Jesus.
• Go to Mass. Obviously, Catholics should always go to Mass on Sunday, but think about attending daily Mass a couple times throughout the week. This will make Advent even more special. Click HERE to see our Mass times. 
• Break out the Bible. Saint Jerome said, “Ignorance of the Scriptures is ignorance of Christ.” We can all do more prayerful reading of the bible. If it’s been a while since you’ve read from the bible, Advent is a great time to begin again.
• Don’t forget the kids. Advent calendars are a great way to engage kids as they count down the days until Christmas. You can make your own, or buy one at Catholic Stores, Mardel's or Amazon.
